All Emery Unified School District employees are required to complete annual mandatory training. For the 2026-2027 school year, the following online training must be completed:

McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act
Bloodborne Pathogens
Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
Cybersecurity Awareness for Employees of Educational Institutions: Security Awareness Essentials
Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention: training must be completed upon hire and thereafter complete it again every two years
The Keenan SafeSchools E-Learning platform provides all of the above training online. EUSD employees must complete their training within the designated timeframe (due date: September 18, 2026). Keenan SafeSchools is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
For the 2026-2027 school year, the following training will be completed in person:
EpiPen, Narcan, Seizure First Aid
Making Schools Safe and Inclusive for LGBTQ+ Students (PRISM Training)

Suicide Prevention and Awareness
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED TRAININGS FOR SPECIFIC ROLES
All EUSD employees who in specific roles such as Athletic Coaches, Board Members, Custodial/Maintenance Staff may have additional trainings annually or every due years aligned with their roles and responsiblities.
