EUSD Statement on the New Zealand Shootings

We unite with people all over the world in expressing our deepest sympathy for the victims, families, and
friends who were harmed by the shootings in New Zealand. We also extend our sincere support to Muslim
families in our own community.

As a school district, we stand against hate in any form and pledge to continue to educate our students by
modeling peace, healing, and acceptance of all people. We encourage staff and families to access the links
below that include how to have a supportive conversation with our youth about hate crimes along with other
resources of support:
