The Emery USD Board of Trustees endorsed the California Schools and Local Communities Funding Act by resolution on June 24, 2020. The California Schools and Local Communities Funding Act guarantees funding to all school districts over and above Proposition 98 funding. The Schools & Communities First initiative is on the November ballot. Read the resolution here.

With John Van Geffen’s appointment to the Bord of Trustees on April 22, a vacancy exists on the Parcel Tax Committee. The Committee meets twice a year to review the budget for the upcoming year and review how the funding was spent for the previous year.
